As a mixture of third-person fighting, Prince of Persia-like acrobatics, and frequent stops to get your name up on various surfaces around the near-future city of New Radius, there's a good deal of variety to the action in the game. Do the same as before with this area and then go farther down the tracks on the other side of this wall until you reach the final area to spray. It's not only what you use to practice your art in, but whenever you run-up on another cool artist, you want them to put something in your book. First, the fighting system, while it isn't perfect, works well. Getting Up is a reference to getting your name up on the wall, not necessarily climbing up to huge heights to do so. Go towards the pit in front of you and jump to the mechanical arm that is just above the pit when it is at the down position. Go into the vent and you will come out on the other side at another large room. Climb up onto the narrow beam and face Trane towards the red column before jumping to it. Make your way across the street after Gabe jump if a car is about to hit you to hopefully avoid it and then climb up the pipe you see Gabe climb up on the other side of this highway. Facing way from the open doorway look up and to the right to see avent sized hole just above the machinery at the far right corner of this room. The system works well enough, but anyone with a real interest in graffiti may well find it all a little too simple.
This isn't Jet Set Radio, but a tribute to one of the four legs of hip-hop -- the urban art of graffiti. Go down the hall through the door to Trane's right. Breaking the game up into missions allows Getting Up to maintain a strong narrative, again quite beautifully, using cutscenes and other dramatic tricks. The story, dialogue, soundtrack, and look of the game all contribute a great deal to the flavor and authenticity of the package. Wall jump off this wall to grab the narrow ledge you see at the right side of the screen. To do this I recommend starting at the bottom and working your way right to left in a upward back and forth zigzag pattern until you have completed it.
